The damnation of liar, an indictment on death

If stares could burn my flesh like fire,

And eyes could poison my soul with malice ire.

I'd quickly end it all,

Save myself from the fall.


I'll feel the guilt forever more,

It's a blinding pain, tearing at my core.

I've fallen from heavens proud estate,

I've seen my reflection, my darkest trait.


You've sealed my fate, you've made a deal.

I've wounded myself, and I can't heal.

Is this my fate, my karmic due?

This is my penance, my apology to you.


Never again will I allow myself to be so weak,

But I looked; I looked at love and paid for that innocent peak.

I'd give it all up for you, my soul, it means nothing without you, my living light.

If only you could be here to break through this endless night.


I'd walk through hell just to see your face,

I'd outstrip the fastest devil's fiery pace.

Now it's all gone, I'm finally alone.

I should be happy, but my heart is stone.


You're dead, and I can't see you here,

Come to me love, and settle near.

I deserve this, every little bit,

I deserve to burn in hell's deepest pit.


But only for the injustice of it all am I still around,

My wings are clipped, my freedom bound.

Why'd they take you, not me?

Can't they tell you're the good one, can't they see?


Now you are cold, and lean to the dark mothers breast,

Will you be reborn, on that far shore in the west?

Lay down, go to sleep and rest my dear.

Lay down your burdens, shed no tear.

I never got to tell you goodbye, but now you've got wings to soar.

Please be alright, please be well.

Its time to surrender to the circle, to the wheel of the year,

With you waiting on the other-side, what do I have to fear?


I'll dance and sing in your honor, I'll hold your memory to my soul,

I'll hold you forever, even if it hurts, even if it means I'll never be whole.

You know, its funny…I can't decide if you're a dream or if you're real,

Without you, I'm all but empty, there's nothing left to steal.


One day I'll be able to look back and smile,

Even if it may take a while.

Because now I have friends who really do care,

But I'll remember every laugh, every smile and loving stare.


I'm not sure how it will all end; I'm not sure how long I'll have to bare this load.

But now I've got true friends, company on this dark road.

Please my angel, go on and be free.

Hear this my angel, hear my desperate plea.
