-Ok, this is the rough draft of my poem. So, be honest so I can hopefully make it a little better.-


Sleeping beauty found a new reason to slumber.

You’re all the same, truly one in all.
You’ve kicked my feet out from under me, forced me to crawl.
The pains under my skin, this morphine makes me itch.
I can’t stay on your life support, I’m turning off the switch.

What am I supposed to do, sit here and wait?
What a pity… patience was never my strongest trait.
Prince Charming isn’t coming for me,
A kiss won’t wake me and set me free.

Do you really care how I feel?
For all you know I’m a nightmare, a dream unable to heal.
But I’ll tell you anyways, just to show you my curse, what I bare.
But don’t give me your sympathy, I don’t need you pitying stare.

Fickle is the heart that loves,
Torn between heaven and hell.
Burning was the arrow that pierced my heart so deep,
But happy is the angel, when my soul he’s come to reap.
